This now dead planet once was filled with life until Inquisitor Fortez declared exterminatus on the planet in order to wipe out the Warboss Razgob. Razgob was able to escape certain death because he was not on the planet at the time and was able to limp out of the system. Since the exterminatus destroyed the atmosphere of the planet, and all of the vegetation, the surface has now been revealed to contain ancient xenos structures previously undetected.
