These are some Grey Knights that I'm working on for my Imperial Guard army. I started off with the Terminators from the Assault on Black Reach set, and sawed off the normal heads, replacing them with Bretonian Knights. I did some more cutting with arms, sword bits and extra marine parts I had laying around, using brass rod for the Nemesis force halberds. They need some work and green stuff in some joints to rebuild what I cut away, and some plasticard for details. I also got to file down some markings and such.

Your pics are kinda dark, makes it tough to see your cool conversions.

My good camera is away right now, so I'll get some better pictures after I get it back. Here's a battle report though.

Work in Progress on an Imperial Guard Veteran squad. 1 lascannon team, Sargent with power fist, and 3 plasma gunners makes for a squad that I love to use. The weapon team uses a base made with a 25mm circle cut into some textured plasticard, so the guardsman who is part of that team can come off the base and be used as a wound counter, or to be used as a regular guardsman.

I like the veterans, the removable heavy is a sound idea. Though I'm not too sure why the sergeant has a power fist, but that could just be how I use the squads in my enviroment.  Is that the Imperial guard power fist?  I don't have any of the new ones myself and can't see clearly enough to tell, it doesn't seem as big as power fists used to be, which would be nice as I've been wanting to make mine more slender.

I like the fist because it gives the unit some close combat teeth. If I go down in combat I at least want to score a wound before I go. Plus I like the option in case something comes my way that I might want to tear up with a fist given the chance. Albeit it's a guardsman attacking, it's better than nothing. Aside from that I've fought one too many Necron lords at S3 and rolling fist-fulls of dice just to do nothing.

An yes, it's the new fist from the command sprue, that's also where the plasma gun came from. Which, in my opinion is one of the better sprues out there. Too bad you only get 5 guys.

Here is my current Imperial Guard army, minus the Inquisitions elements. I have a few bases to do up, finish some highlighting on the infantry, get the sponsons on a Russ finished, and get a Valkyrie all done up and nice.

I've decided to go a drastically different direction with my Imperial Guard. No, I'm not talking about changing up my list - so far I'm decidedly happy on what I've accomplished in that regard.

I was not very happy with the way my army was turning out as far as the paint scheme was concerned. While green and brown are nice colors to paint, I did not like the way the army looked. In addition I was frustrated to a degree with having both my Eldar and my Guard both have a lot of green on them. So I decided to go a different route.

Bring on the Inquisition! I've taken a look into my Daemonhunters Codex to get some ideas. After all, my Guard army is all veterans, with the occasional Vendetta and Leman Russ. I'm already using Grey Knights and planning on taking more. Overall, I'm in the initial stages of this, but I am very pleased with the result thus far.

This is still all WIP. Also, check out the Grey Knights, they were converted from the AOBR Terminators.

Here is the WIP re-painting of the Executioner. In other news, I have some Forgeworld brass coming soon to do all the Inquisition symbols for this army. I also have some nasty-not-niceness plans for the Grey Knights in the army, but I can't say or show just yet, because I don't want the guys reading about it before I pull it on them!

The colors are Blood Red, Boltgun Metal, Ice Blue, Ultramarines Blue, Regal Blue, Asuremen Blue Wash, Badab Black Wash, Macharius Solar Orange, Dwarf Flesh, Burnished Gold, Delvan Mud Wash.

That's a nice new paint scheme. Looking forward to see your nasty Inquistion forces.

That is a huge change in colors!  I liked the green, but the new colors stand out much more.  Very, very nice!

Here are a couple Valkyries/Vendettas that I am working on. All the weapons will be magnetized so I can easily switch to different loadouts.
